Whales 2025 Spring Team Tryouts!

We are looking for young athletes who are looking to develop their hockey skills in a fun, supportive and competitive environment.

For spring 2025 we’re looking for AAA/AA players born in:

2018, 2017, 2016, 2015 & 2014.

Tryout Location:

Where: Planet Ice Coquitlam – Rink #2

Tryout Times:

Team 2015 @ Sun. Nov. 3rd (2:00pm-3:00pm)
Team 2016 @ Sun. Nov. 3rd (3:15pm-4:15pm)
Team 2017 @ Sun. Nov. 3rd (4:30pm-5:30pm)
Team 2018 @ Sun. Nov. 17th (3:15pm-4:15pm)
Team 2014 @ Sun. Nov. 17th (4:30pm-5:30pm)

Cost is $45 per player* (fill out player application form linked below to register)

Program Highlights

20 Team On-Ice Practices or Skills Sessions
3 Elite or AAA Local BC Tournaments
Professional Coaches on All Ice Times
Goalie Coaching by Stage One Goaltending
Whales Tournament Team Apparel Package - Home and Away Personalized Game Jerseys, Game Socks, Pant Shells, Helmet Stickers.

The Vancouver Whales offer spring hockey programs for players of all ages
and skill levels, from AA teams to our Elite Tournament Teams.

The Vancouver Whale’s promote the pursuit of excellence, through integrity, and self-discipline on and off the hockey rink.

We aim to create an environment where athletes can progress and showcase their individual talents while celebrating their work ethic in a team environment.

Our goal is to use hockey as a fundamental tool to shape the characters of young athletes.

The overall objective of The Vancouver Whales is to run a professional hockey experience on and off the ice,

and offer athletes the highest level of training while preparing them for the next level.

All teams will receive professionally run practices, specific dryland hockey training, high-level tournament exposure, and individual player development.
